In a special Holiday Edition of the Filmcore Web Series, critics Alex Kirschenbaum and Armani Barron commemorate the 10th anniversary of the seminal “The Gingerbread Man” (2005), a Gary Busey-starring “Child’s Play” retread that centers around a Christmas cookie but unlike “Child’s Play” doesn’t seem to actually take place on Christmas. No matter, gingerbread cookies are the territory of Christmas and so it totally counts.
